It’s been good news galore as all 12 Thai boys have been rescued from their cave prison by the Thailand Navy SEALs.

The 12 boys along with their coach who were part of the Thai Wild Boar football team were trapped in a cave located in Chiang Rai for around 2 weeks after rains made it impossible to exit.

They have now been saved after 18 days of being stuck in the caves.

Rescue attempts had been frantic as navigating the cave was a problem, the rescuers also had to deal with a problem of oxygen as the oxygen levels in the cave had been lessening over the last couple of days.

After much deliberation, it was decided that the children are taught how to dive and with this, they were able to start rescuing children from the 5th of July.

Today marked the last day of the rescue mission as all the boys are now safe and sound. There were no death among the boys and the only casualty was former Navy SEAL Saman Kunan who died due to lack of oxygen.

There has been worldwide jubilation as people feared the worst ever since the children were first found alive on the 3rd of July.
