Idris Elba, famous British actor, has tested positive for coronavirus.
Elba took to his Instagram page to post a video announcing his health situation and also stated that he is currently showing no symptoms of coronavirus but has however quarantined himself.
Elba explained that he took the step to examine himself the moment he had an exposure with someone who tested positive for the disease.
He then encouraged social distancing and effective hygiene routine.
“Now’s the time to really think about social distancing, washing your hands,” he said.
“There are people out there who aren’t showing symptoms and that can easily spread it.
“Transparency is probably the best thing for this right now.”
