The Nigerian Army has just confirmed via its social media page that another of the abducted Chibok girls has been found.
According to reports, troops of the Operation Lafiya Dole discovered the Chibok schoolgirl identified as Rakiya Abubakar and her six months old baby during interrogation of an arrested suspected Boko Haram terrorist.
The rescued schoolgirl was later confirmed to be the daughter of Abubakar Gali Mulima and Habiba Abubakar of Chibok according to preliminary investigation.
Upon questioning, Rakiya Abubakar revealed that she was a student of Senior Secondary School Class 3B before she was abducted along with other girls by the Boko Haram terrorist group members.
Rakiya Abubakar who will soon be released to the Borno stat government is presently undergoing further medical check ups.
