Davido has a daughter, Imade, with Sophie Momodu who is a niece to Ovation publisher Dele Momodu.
Davido and his family tried to travel with Imade out of the country after forcefully taking her from her mother, claiming that she is a drug addict and her drug usage was finding its way to the baby through breast feeding. Read more on that here.

Davido also added more facts, stating he has done more for Sophie than her uncle Dele has ever done and that his daughter has special medical needs and has to travel.
