The Founder of the Peoples Redemption Party, Alhaji Balarabe Musa, popular political economist, Patrick Utomi and others have urged President Muhammadu Buhari to publish the names of looters because only then will the genuity of his anti-corruption stance will be established.
News Agency of Nigeria reports that Balarebe Musa said the President will win the people’s confidence if he publishes the names of looters.
He said “We want to know the truth about it and know who collected the loot and where the funds have been transferred to.
“This is because we suspect that all those talks about Abacha’s loot may be false.”
Pat Utomi urged the President to immediately publish the names of looters. Similarly the Arewa Consultative Forum also took the same stance.
Alhaji Yerima Shettima, the National President of the AYCF insisted that the Central Bank of Nigeria must not shield anyone for any reason.
