A ballot box snatcher identified as Idris Ojochenemi Akayaba has been gunned down in Anyigba, Kogi State.
It was reported that Akayaba was killed by security operatives on Saturday, February 25, while snatching ballot boxes at the Kogi State University community polling unit.
He was said to be operating with some colleagues that narrowly escaped from security agencies.
It was gathered that he recently passed out of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme a few days ago prior to his death.
