Gunmen suspected to be bandits have kidnapped Hajiya Rabi, the mother-in-law of Katsina business mogul, Alhaji Dahiru Barau Mangal.
She was reportedly kidnapped early Tuesday morning when the assailants launched an attack on Matazu Local Government Area in Katsina State.
Upon arriving the community around 1 am, the gunmen were said to have headed straight to Hajiya Rabi’s home, abducted and took her to an undisclosed location.
The Punch quoted an unnamed family source as confirming the incident in Kano.

The source disclosed that some gunmen had earlier abducted Buhari Muntari, the father-in-law of Hajiya Rabi’s son.
Also confirming the abduction, Hajiya Rabi’s husband, Alhaji Muntari Masanawa said that the bandits stormed his home, woke his wife up and whisked her away on a motorcycle.
However, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), ASP Gambo Isah, said that he was yet to get the report of the incident from the Divisional Police Officer in Matazu.
