Big Brother Naija All Stars house, contestant Ikechukwu Sunday Okonkwo, popularly known as Cross, has secured his spot as the first finalist of the season by purchasing the ultimate immunity.
Cross, the reigning Head of House, successfully acquired immunity from the impending eviction last week, ensuring he remains in the house until the end of the season. This significant milestone was achieved through the accumulation of Moniepoint Coins, the official currency within the house, from fellow housemates.
On a strategic acquisition spree, Cross bought Omashola and Neo’s coins, with the former demanding ₦1 million and the latter ₦3 million for their respective shares. Additionally, Alex and Pere generously contributed their coins to Cross without any exchange.
By amassing enough coins and purchasing the ultimate immunity, Cross has earned an automatic qualification for the final stage of the competition. Furthermore, he will enjoy immunity from any potential eviction during week 9.
However, it’s worth noting that a recent announcement from Biggie declared that Moniepoint coins are no longer valid as legal tender within the house, rendering unused coins ineffective for future purchases.
