Derin Osaga, boyfriend of Big Brother Naija star Tsakute Jonah (Saskay), has sparked controversy with a recent social media post. Derin, a chef known online as Chef Derin, took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to declare his love for Saskay, prompting a wave of accusations and negative comments.
The trouble began when Derin posted, “All my baddies for Instagram no Dey follow me talk again. Sorry fine Girl I’m taken [because] I’m Saskay’s man.” This public declaration did not sit well with everyone.
A man claiming to be Derin’s former friend emerged with accusations of infidelity. The unidentified man alleged that Derin “used” and “dumped” him for Saskay, leaving his friend heartbroken and depressed. He further accused him of seeking “fame” by associating with the reality TV star and expressed outrage at the alleged mistreatment of his former partner.
Derin’s motives have also been questioned by others. Screenshots have surfaced showing him previously claiming his relationship with Saskay is a publicity stunt and that intimacy with her was unpleasant. These alleged statements contradict his recent social media declarations, leading some to believe Saskay is manipulating the situation for personal gain.
