Breaking his silence on the tragic demise of his close associate and fellow artist, Mohbad, Bella Shmurda has come forward to address the situation and express his determination to pursue justice.

Mohbad’s passing on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, had sent shockwaves throughout the music industry and beyond. Initially, Bella Shmurda had made a brief comment, hinting that karma would catch up to those responsible for Mohbad’s death. However, he has now taken to social media, particularly X (formerly known as Twitter), to shed more light on the matter.

In a lengthy post, Bella Shmurda revealed that he has felt the presence of Mohbad’s spirit around him since the tragedy. According to him, the spirit has been pointing out the individuals involved in the events leading up to Mohbad’s death.


Expressing his frustration and determination to seek justice for Mohbad, Bella Shmurda made it clear that if the police fail to take action, he would personally take the matter to the streets and handle it himself. He also made a striking statement, suggesting that Naira Marley and Zinoleesky should not return to Nigeria, insinuating their potential involvement in the incident.

While Bella Shmurda did not explicitly name individuals, it was evident that he was referring to the Marlian Records CEO and a signee. He urged for a united effort to bring those responsible to justice, emphasizing that the past few days have been challenging for him, haunted by the responsibility to ensure Mohbad’s spirit finds peace.
