Benue South: INEC Declares David Mark Winner

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has declared Senator David Mark of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, winner of the Benue South Senatorial re-run elections which held yesterday.

INEC declared David Mark winner of the Saturday election after defeating his rival, Daniel Onjeh of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

According to INEC, Mark defeated Daniel Onjeh with a total vote cast of 84,192 votes to 71,621.

Mark won in five local government areas while Onjeh won in four. The result was declared by Prof. Ishaku Enigi.
