Bill Cosby Countersues 7 Women Who Accused Him of Sexual Assault

Disgraced comedian, Bill Cosby is firing back at allegations that he sexually assaulted and drugged over 40 women by filing a defamation lawsuit against seven of his accusers.

The women, who have been identified as Tamara Green, Therese Serignese, Linda Traitz, Louisa Moritz, Barbara Bowman, Joan Tarshis and Angela Leslie, are involved in a new countersuing lawsuit filed by Cosby in American Federal Court on Monday December 14. The filings arrived on the same day that yet another honorary degree was withdrawn from him- this time from Boston University.

Cosby’s attorney told USA TODAY that her client ‘states plainly that he neither drugged nor sexually assaulted the defendants and that each defendant has maliciously and knowingly published multiple false statements and accusations from Fall 2014 through the current day in an effort to cause damage to Mr. Cosby’s reputation and to extract financial gains.’ The women joined together to file a joint lawsuit against the actor/comedian.
