Ikorodu residents are in panic as reports indicate that not less than six people have been reported dead in a violent clash between two rival cults.
Due to the ongoing battle, residents of Adamo, Mojoda, Arora and Ipoyewa have been advised in their best interest to vacate their homes till the situation is brought under control.
According to news agency, Naij, a telephone conversation with one of the residents of the area confirmed that the fight between the rival groups, Eiye confraternity and Black Axe started yesterday, Wednesday, July 6th.
The source further revealed that the fight was suspected to have started as a payback measure with the Black Axe group, aiming to get even with the Eiye confraternity for killing some of their members in a recent clash.
