Nollywood actor, Bolanle Ninalowo, has found himself in the spotlight once again, this time addressing allegations of infidelity as the alleged reason behind the end of his 18-year marriage to his wife, Bunmi. The couple, who share two children, announced their separation last week, marking a significant chapter in their long-standing relationship.
This marriage dissolution comes after the pair endured a turbulent period in their relationship a few years ago, which led to a brief separation. However, they managed to reconcile and reunite, giving hope to their fans that their love story would continue to flourish. Sadly, it seems that the reconciliation was not enough to sustain their union.
The controversy surrounding Ninalowo’s alleged infidelity erupted when netizens dug up an old interview video in which the actor admitted to cheating on his wife as one of the reasons behind their marital crisis. The resurfacing of this interview added fuel to the speculations regarding the cause of their separation.
In response to the claims and allegations circulating on social media, Bolanle Ninalowo took to his own platform to clarify the situation. He emphasized that the video in question was from six years ago and should not be considered relevant to the current circumstances surrounding his marriage. According to the 43-year-old actor, during that interview, he was discussing the reasons behind their marital crisis several years ago, which is now in the past.
In his own words, Ninalowo stated, “A conqueror doesn’t speak! I owe no one an explanation for my life decisions!! Bloggers are simply hypocrites in thirst for clout!! Any interviews circulating of me are old from 6 years ago, which was before I restored the marriage that has now finally ended! Na me dey jubilate, na una dey worry. God wey help me go help una ooo.”
