“Brain” Behind Klopp, Assistant Buvac Gets Work Permit

1 Min Read

Liverpool fans still cannot believe their fortunes in landing former Borussia Dortmund, Jurgen Klopp after three years of topsy-turvy but definitely below-par results under sacked Brendan Rodgers.

However, Klopp was said to be unhappy at the inability of his long-term assistant Zeljko Buvac to gain a work permit to work in England.

The “brain” behind Klopp, as Buvac is fondly called by fans, has however gotten the required papers to link up with his boss, whom he also served under at Dortmund and Mainz.

The 54-year-old Buvac was also a fellow former player at Mainz.

He is expected to link up with the club at today’s training at the Melwood Base of the club.

Buvac is equally expected to join the squad for Klopp’s first official game as manager of Liverpool in an English Premier League game against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.
