Insecurity: CLO says every Nigerian owes the nation a responsibility to stem insecurity

Reports claim that Korongilum community in Chibok local government area of Borno state, is currently being attacked by suspected Boko Haram insurgents.

According to the reports, the insurgents came into the community around 6pm, shooting sporadically and setting many houses on fire.

A resident of the community who was quoted in the reports said locals were just returning from their farms when the incident happened.

Meanwhile, a military source said troops from the Nigerian Army’s 28 task force brigade and 117 battalions, both headquartered in Chibok, are already on their way to the area.

The military source said: “In fact, the brigade and the battalion commanders are the ones leading soldiers to the attack,”
