Chaos seems to be the order of the day at the Bayelsa State House of Assembly with the invasion of thugs in the Assembly complex, shooting sporadically in the air.
The Speaker of the house, Tonye Isenah is allegedly on the run with the mace, which is a symbol of power and authority at the legislature, after thugs invaded the Assembly.

Tonye Isenah is expected to tender his resignation letter today and step down as Speaker of the house due to pressure from the members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ahead of the November 16, Governorship election in the state.
