The singer reportedly handed a staggering sum of 1.5 million naira to Young Duu, an artist signed by Portable, during the gathering.
While there hasn’t been official confirmation from Burna Boy’s camp, videos shared by attendees at the event hosted by DJ Obi at his house on Monday, December 18, 2023, showcased the vibrant atmosphere with top artists such as Tems, Tiwa Savage, Asake, Phyno, and many others in attendance. Burna Boy, visibly excited to see Young Duu, expressed his support for the singer, who recently collaborated with Carterefe on a project.
Reports suggest that Burna Boy went a step further by presenting Young Duu with a speculated amount of 1.5 million naira in cash. The gesture has stirred various reactions, with some noting that Young Duu did not appear overly thrilled to receive the money, while others celebrated the recognition bestowed upon him by an artist of Burna Boy’s stature.
