American female Rapper, Cardi B has reacted to the #EndSARS protests in Nigeria.
Due to the incessant reports of brutality on citizens by security operatives meant to protect them, Nigerians have launched a 3 day protest calling for the disbandment of Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
@AsiwajuLerry, a Nigerian Twitter user took to the app earlier to call on Cardi B to lend her voice to #EndSARS.
He wrote:
Madam @iamcardib, trump is not your only problem. Your beloved Nigeria is currently in a state of pandemonium.
We are not safe!! If you’ve ever loved this country, please help use your platform to create more awareness for us.
Enough is enough! #EndSarsProtests #EndSARSNow!!
Asiwaju was condemned by other users who felt Cardi had no say in the affairs of Nigeria.
However, the US Rapper took everyone by surprise when she replied Asiwaju asking to know more details about the protest.
She wrote:
