Three armed men waiting to rob a bank customer in Bayelsa State have been nabbed, thanks to Close Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras installed inside the bank premises.
According to Guardian, the branch manager of a new generation bank in Amarata, Yenagoa Local Government in Bayelsa observed a man acting suspiciously inside the banking hall and alerted security men stationed on the bank premises.
The suspect was immediately nabbed, taken to a corner of the bank and was found with a pistol in his pocket during a search.
Upon further interrogation, the unnamed suspect was said to have told the security men that two members of his gang were outside the bank premises awaiting his instruction to rob one of the bank’s customers.
The security men quickly swung into and those two were also arrested and found with a pistol apiece.
They were handed over to the police for prosecution.
