A friendly football banter between Nollywood best friends IK Ogbonna and Alex Ekubo has now turned into a public feud. On social media, IK Ogbonna criticized Alex Ekubo for sharing their private chat online.

On April 19th, Alex posted screenshots of their chat, which initially started as a regular football argument but quickly devolved into a heated exchange of insults. The actors hurled insults at each other, with IK even claiming that his late mother’s spirit would fight back against Alex’s insults.
Alex targeted IK’s grammar, questioning whether he even attended primary school and referring to him with derogatory names like “swine,” “animal,” and “ewu.” He even asked for five people to confirm that IK had attended primary school.
He said :
Pls I need 5 people to confirm they attended primary school with @ikogbonna because i don’t understand the immigrant spelling
In response, IK called Alex “the worst friend I have had in a long time” and used insulting language towards him.
