Renowned Nigerian chef and restaurateur, Hilda Baci, recently revealed her persistent attempts to secure a spot on the popular reality TV show, Big Brother Naija. Despite auditioning on five separate occasions, she did not manage to make it onto the show.
Hilda Baci made this candid disclosure during an appearance on Cool FM Nigeria’s program, The Big Friday Show, which was hosted by former BBNaija star, Tacha. While speaking about her journey and experiences, the Guinness World Record Holder shared her aspirations and efforts to participate in the reality show.
Explaining her motivations, Baci mentioned that she initially aimed to gain recognition through her participation in Big Brother Naija before embarking on her cooking marathon project, known as the “cook-a-thon.” However, despite her repeated attempts, she wasn’t selected as a housemate for the show.
“I actually tried to get on Big Brother [Naija] for a while. I think I auditioned about four or five times. The plan for the cook-a-thon was still in the pipeline, so my goal was to go to Big Brother and then come out and do the cook-a-thon,” she stated.
