Chief Judge of Kogi, Nasir Ajanah Dies at COVID-19 Isolation Centre

Reports from Kogi State say the Chief Judge of the State, Justice Nasir Ajanah has allegedly died of COVID-19 complications.

According to theCable, the Judge died at the COVID-19 isolation centre in Gwagwalada Abuja.

His death comes one week after the President of the Kogi customary Appeal Court, Shaibu Atadoga died allegedly of COVID-19.

An aide to Governor Yahaya Bello, also died of the virus less than two weeks ago in a private Abuja Hospital.

While the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed three cases of the virus in the state, the governor and his cabinet members continue to insist that Kogi State is free of COVID-19.
