Popular American cable news network, CNN has been accused of turning a blind eye to controversies surrounding their star host, Chris Cuomo and his brother, Andrew, who is the Governor of New York.
A rival network, Fox News said that CNN has either favourably covered the scandals or simply ignored them.
The New York governor has been accused of sexual harassment or assault by nine women.
The ninth accuser, Sherry Vill said on Monday that the governor, who was married at the time, “manhandled” and “forcibly kissed” her in 2017.
CNN did not cover Vill’s press conference, where the accusations were made, despite the New York Attorney-General’s saying it has launched an investigation into the allegations.
The TV host on the other hand has been accused of getting his family prioritised in COVID-19 testing overseen by his brother.

More than a week after the scandal broke, CNN has yet to cover it.
Fox News called its rival network’s action part of a “blackout”.
