Dr. Muhammed Idiagbon, a former Head of English Department of the University of Ilorin was was accused in an audio file uploaded online of harassing a female student because she missed a class test.

Other ex-students of the department and the lecturer also lent their voice into the matter as they claimed it was his usual behaviour to sexually harass female students.

He has however debunked the allegation claiming some envious colleagues plotted the ridiculous plan to bring him down and drag his name in the mud.

In an interview with Punch, Idiagbon said: “The allegation is harassment and not rape. It is a conspiracy; a set-up by my colleagues over my rise to stardom. I will address the media at the appropriate time.”
