Creator of E.X.O: The Legend of Wale Williams, Roye Okupe, was featured on ABC 7 News where his comic book was discussed.
The comic book which burst into the limelight last year as the face of superhero comics in Nigeria, has been wildly popular outside the country with CNN and other news agencies talking about it.
At comic con Nigeria last year, E.X.O was the center of attention as other comic makers sat to listen to Roye explain how he produced such a polished and professional comic book.
Roye took to his Facebook page to thank everyone involved in making his foray a success.
He took pictures with the crew of ABC 7 news and posted on his Facebook wall.
He said, A VERY huge thank you to everyone at ABC 7 News – WJLA I had a blast (I’ll post some videos soon) thanks again Tosin Fakile and Chanelle Oliver for setting this up! Poet Taylor thanks for making sure everything ran smooth behind the scenes. To everyone who has supported me so far, and everyone who has worked on E.X.O. as well as other YouNeek Studios stuff with me, getting here will not be possible without each and everyone one of you. I promise to continue to strive for greatness every single day!
