COVID-19: Jack Ma Sends Second Batch of Medical Supplies to Africa

Chinese Billionaire, Jack Ma, has sent a second batch of essential medical supplies to African countries to boost the fight against COVID-19.

The medical supplies due to land in Ethiopia soon is meant to be distributed across all 54 African countries according to Jack Ma who disclosed the information via his Twitter handle.

The latest batch of supplies include: 500 Ventilators, 200,000 suits and face shields, 200,000 thermometers, one million swabs and extraction kits as well as 500,000 hand gloves.

The recent donations will help in continued testing on the continent as countries like Nigeria have complained of a shortage of test kits and personal protective equipment for medical personnel on the frontline against COVID-19.
