Renowned Nigerian musician Ajibola Danladi, popularly known as Danny Young, has made bold assertions about his role in paving the way for singers Seyi Vibez and Asake.
Danny Young’s claims surfaced in a viral video shared on social media while he discussed Asake’s recent achievements with friends.
In the video, he asserted that the style of music now performed by Seyi Vibez and Asake was pioneered by him. While recognizing the global success of Nigerian music, he proudly stated, “But you know say na me start that music, the style, the lamba, the streets, tune. Anytime wey you dey hear those lamba, make you know say na me, no cap”
