Windows has a Your Phone App that lets you mirror your Android phones on the Windows platform, developers at Dell are bringing a similar functionality to the Dell’s Mobile Connect app, soon iOS users will be able to use every app on their device on Windows using keyboard and mouse.
In a few months time, the app which already lets you see messages and receive calls on Windows will receive a big update that will pack a host of new functionalities including a complete mirror of the device.
It’s worth noting that the app only works on selected Dell laptop or PCs and to fully enjoy the mirroring function a copy of every app you wish to use will have to be installed on both your phone and on Windows.
Microsoft’s Your Phone app features a similar full screen mirroring to what the Mobile Connect promises for Android users but it’s available only on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.
Microsoft’s Analy Otero Diaz hinted on Twitter that the full mirroring is on its way to other Android smartphones.
