Donald Trump Threatens To Make US Allies Pay For Protection

Leading US Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump has blasted the way countries in the Free World are handling their security in the wake of terror attacks that hit Brussels, Belgium and left 34 dead and 270 others injured.

He said the countries have become “weak” and cannot “protect themselves” against the “severe, severe problems” posed by terrorism.

Furthermore, the real estate mogul said he would, if elected president, ensure that American allies pay for the ‘cloak of protection’ they enjoy from the United States.

Asked if he would feel save going to Europe in the wake of the March 22 Brussels attacks, he said:

“I don’t think America is a safe place for Americans, if you want to know the truth.

“I don’t think Bruss – England or I don’t think that Europe is a safe place. No, I don’t. I think there are a lot of problems in Europe that are very, very severe.

“Lots of the free world has become weak. When you look at Brussels, when you look at the way they’ve handled things from law enforcement standpoints, when you look at Paris, when you look at so many other places, no, it’s not.

“But neither is the United States a safe place, because we’re allowing thousands of people to come in here. Nobody knows where they’re from. Nobody knows who they are and they’re coming in here by the thousands. And let me tell you something, we’re going to have problems just as big or bigger than they’ve got.”

Trump also said he would make America stop buying oil from Saudi Arabia and other Middle Eastern allies if they do not commit grounds to fight the Islamic State terror group.

In the same vein, he said he would allow Japan and South Korea develop nuclear weapons to protect themselves against the danger posed by North Korea.
