Senator for Ebonyi North, Onyekachi Nwebonyi has been criticised for allegedly passing off a home he built for his brother as a constituency project.
Nwebonyi, a lawyer-cum-politician, had taken to X to celebrate the commissioning of a home built in his constituency on Saturday.
He wrote, “The fastest way to grow in life is to grow others.
“On 16th Dec,2023 I commissioned to the glory of God one amongst our buildings projects in Ebonyi North senatorial district for Mr Moses Darlington Nwebonyi.
“Congratulations boy, enjoy!”
The senator also shared photos from the commissioning.
However, many netizens called out the senator, saying he built the house and falsely passed it off as a “constituency project”.
