Election won’t hold in 240 polling units – INEC

The Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, has said that the general election will not hold in 240 polling units across the country.

Yakubu made the disclosure on Monday while meeting with leaders of political parties.

According to the INEC boss, no one chose to vote in the affected polling units.

The much-anticipated general election is scheduled to hold on February 25 and March 11.
