Elsa and Naomi Campbell’s friendship began in 2020 when the supermodel visited Kenya for a vacation. The comedian reached out, and the two decided to spend their holiday together.

In the video, Elsa disclosed that their strong relationship took a turn when Naomi unexpectedly threatened her with a lawsuit for filming a documentary without consent. According to Elsa, they had discussed filming a documentary about her, with Naomi as the financier and counselor. However, when Elsa independently produced a documentary about herself, it ignited a feud between them.

The comedian claimed that Naomi Campbell told her friends that she made Elsa, a statement Elsa strongly refutes. Despite acknowledging the significant role Naomi played in boosting her credibility and elevating her in the entertainment industry, Elsa emphasized that she doesn’t want to be owned by someone else.

Expressing her reasons for speaking out, Elsa Majimbo stated, “Talking about the Naomi Campbell situation is very hard and scary for me. But I don’t want to be owned by someone else, and I want to acknowledge a lot of big hits and blows in my career came from another black woman and not my own incompetence.

She further clarified their current relationship status, stating, “We’re not friends, we’re not enemies, we’re not anything.
