Human Rights Activist and Convener of Concerned Nigerians civil rights movement, Deji Adeyanju has called out Nigerian Artiste Azeez Fashola a.k.a Naira Marley for suspending #EndSARS protest.

Naira Marley who initially scheduled a protest on Tuesday Oct 6 over the alleged brutality of Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (FSARS) on innocent Nigerians later called off the protest.

The Artiste who enjoys a huge followership of about 4 million online users on Instagram had called on other Nigerians to demand an end to FSARS.

However, he suspended the protest after Minister of Youth, Sunday Dare pleaded with him to shelve the plan as the issue was already being treated at the highest level of government.

Taking to social media, the Artiste disclosed the protest would take place next week if the government failed to take a major step to #EndSARS brutality.

An Instagram live session was later scheduled where the Artiste discussed the alleged brutality with the spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force.

Reacting to the suspension of the planned protest, Deji Adeyanju called the popular Artiste a coward.

He said:

“Naira Marley the coward cancels #EndSARS Lagos protest. Not surprised at all. Only Nigerians can save themselves.”
