Photographic evidence linking current FIFA Ballon D’Or winner, Cristiano Ronaldo, to a possible homosexual relationship with Dutch-Morrocan professional kickboxer, Badr Hari, has surfaced online.
The photos went viral on the internet on Friday, after a French television programme Touche pas à mon, discussed his life extensively, including making an assertion that the 30-year-old makes jet trips to Morocco three or four times a week.
According to the TV show, Ronaldo goes to Morocco to visit Hari to “cuddle”.
Recall that Ronaldo recently bought a 19-million-euro Gulfstream G200.
The revelations negate what the Real Madrid forward’s public life would have us believe, especially since he has been seen to have dated a string of supermodels in the past, including a five-year relationship with Russian model, Irina Shayk.
Ronaldo and Hari are said to be friends, but the nature of the friendship has come into sharp focus since the pictures surfaced.
Hari is seen carrying Ronaldo in one of the pictures uploaded to his (Hari’s) facebook page, with the caption: “Just married. Hahahaha.”
In yet another photo, the duo are sitting and appeared to be having a good time.
One of the panellists on the French TV show, Daniel Riolo, a sports journalist said he felt Ronaldo’s off the field antics, including his frequent visit to Morocco could have a negative impact on his on-the-pitch performance.
Also, unconfirmed reports say that Real Madrid officials are concerned about their star man’s too-frequent trips to Morocco.
