A former Head of State, Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar (rtd) has been flown abroad over his failing health.
ThisDay reported that the 80-year-old retired general may have suffered a partial stroke.
The newspaper further reported that Abdulsalami, who is the Chairman of the National Peace Committee, was flown abroad for medical attention three weeks ago.
Initially flown to Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), the octogenarian is now at a hospital in the United Kingdom, according to the report.
He was said to have been accompanied by his wife, Justice Fati Abubakar.
He is in a stable condition, the report states.
