Ex-Super Eagles Defender, Ogbein Dies Of Heart Attack Two Weeks After Deportation

Ogbein Fawole, ex-Super Eagles defender and Shooting Stars hero, has died of cardiac arrest two weeks after he was deported from the UK empty-handed.

Mr Fawole, who abandoned his wife and kids to go search for greener pastures, refused to reach out to them after his deportation, but rather spent time at his friend’s house in Lagos.

The former Shooting Stars footballer, was forced to give out his relative’s phone number to his friend when his health got critical, his friend called the family to break the sad news.

His strange lifestyle and presence in Nigeria came as a rude shock to his family when his death was broken to them.
