Have you seen the queue at the immigration office? Especially the one in Lagos State.

Program/Course

Also, with the course selected, you can find out how relevant it is in the country you chose to study in. If your plan is to stay back in the country to work then you need to study a course that is in demand.

Consider your personal and professional goals when selecting a course.

Location

There are a lot of countries to pick, however your preference and the program of your chose determine your choice.

One other important factor to consider when choosing a country is ‘staying back’. Do you want to stay back in there or do you want to go back to your hoe country?

Canada is one of the easiest country to migrate to; education, work and permanent residency.

If you plan to stay back after studying, make sure that you select a country that will make it easy for you to stay back and apply for residency permit.

School

Do you research well. There are thousands and thousands of schools all around; the best schools and the ones that are average.

A research will help you identify the best institution, a private or public school and even the school that fits your goal.

Make a list of the best and affordable schools, look out for the acceptance and graduation rate.

Check the programs that the school offers, the tuition rate and scholarship.

Curriculum

Is the curriculum/syllabus robust? The curriculum will tell you the amount of units you will take for each semester, and the title. Look through it, this will also help you in deciding.

Cost and scholarship

How much does the tuition cost? If you don’t have enough money, target affordable schools and apply for scholarships.
