Fadeyi Oloro: “Let’s check up on people when they are alive” – Woli Arole

Actor and comedian, Bayegun Oluwatoyin aka Woli Arole, has mourned the death of Nollywood legend, Ojo Arowosafe, popularly known as Fadeyi Oloro.

It was learnt that Fadeyi Oloro died on Tuesday after battling a protracted illness.

The veteran actor had on several platforms drawn attention to his poor health condition, urging Nigerians to help him with the cost of his medical care.

The Herald recently reported that the Senior Pastor of Salvation Proclaimers Anointed Church, better known as SPAC Nation, Pastor Tobi Adegboyega, donated N3 million towards Fadeyi Oloro’s medical treatment.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Woli Arole confirmed Fadeyi Oloro’s death.

Appearing to send a veiled message to colleagues in the Nigerian entertainment industry, Woli Arole emphasised the importance of checking on people while they are still alive.

He wrote, “So happy I reached out to you sir, so happy we played our part, so happy we laughed together, so happy we were able to show our support. Rest in Peace the Legend ‘Fadeyi Oloro’.

“Let’s check up on people when dey (they) are alive, Let’s show love when people can feel. Let’s help when it can be seen.”
