In an interview with The Beat 99.9 FM, Lagos, Fireboy shared insights into the transformation he has undergone both as an artist and an individual. The ‘Peru’ crooner emphasized that significant changes in his life, including becoming a millionaire, have played a pivotal role in shaping his musical style.

Sometimes you may think you are one person, then N50 million will enter your account, and you will realize you are a different person. There were a lot of things I said I would never do or be until I became a millionaire,” Fireboy explained during the interview.

Addressing fans who express nostalgia for his earlier music style, Fireboy urged them to revisit his debut album if they missed the “old” him. He highlighted the impossibility of creating another project resembling ‘Laughter, Tears and Goosebumps,’ given the transformative experiences and exposure he has gained.

How do you expect a 27-year-old millionaire, who has experienced life, to make another album like ‘LTG’ again? Think about it. How? Even the album [‘LTG’], it’s not every time you are going to be in the mood to listen to it. Sometimes it may be ‘Apollo’ or ‘Playboy,’” Fireboy remarked, shedding light on the diverse influences that shape his creativity.
