Floyd Mayweather has announced that he will be fighting YouTube star Logan Paul in a boxing exhibition on February 20.

Mayweather is an undefeated champion with a 50-0 record, multiple world titles in five weight classes, and an Olympic bronze medal.

Mayweather was estimated to have earned more than $100m from his fight with UFC star Conor McGregor in 2017, and $9m from an exhibition against Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa in 2018.

Paul is best known for his controversial YouTube video where he filmed a dead body in a Japanese forest.

Mayweather called out Logan Paul last month on Twitter, making his thoughts on boxing YouTubers clear and saying he’s “not the one for the kid games.”

Paul’s brother, Jake, responded to Mayweather’s comments ahead of his own fight against former NBA player Nate Robinson, which he ended up winning.

It is likely the fight on February 20 will draw a huge pay-per-view gate as Mayweather returns to action against the YouTube star.

The first 1m customers will pay $24.99, with the price rising to $69.99 closer to the fight.

Meanwhile, Popular television station, Channels Television has promised to investigate allegations of domestic violence levelled against one of its reporters, Mr Pius Angbo.

This was after a video emerged of Angbo’s wife, Ifeanyinwa, with what appeared to be marks of violence on her face.

The victim can be heard saying, “My name is Ifeanyinwa. I am a doctor. I have been married to Mr. Pius Angbo of Channels Television for six years and for six years I have not known peace in this marriage.

“He sleeps from one woman to another. I just had a baby (it was a caeserian section) just about four weeks ago.”
