(Full List): Big Names Miss Out From England’s 23-Man World Cup Squad

The Three Lions of England have just announced their 23-man World Cup squad list and some big names are missing.

Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere, who was rumoured to have been left out, was indeed left out of the squad, as well as Chelsea’s Danny Drinkwater.

Other notable absentees are Liverpool’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Joe Gomez, who both miss out due to injuries.

However, Adam Lallana, Tom Heaton, James Tarkowski, Lewis Cook, and Jake Livermore have been placed on standby.

The list: 

Goalkeepers: Jack Butland (Stoke City), Jordan Pickford (Everton), Nick Pope (Burnley)

Defenders: Kyle Walker (Manchester City), Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool), Ashley Young (Manchester United), Danny Rose (Tottenham Hotspur), John Stones (Manchester City), Gary Cahill (Chelsea), Harry Maguire (Leicester City), Phil Jones (Manchester United), Kieran Trippier (Tottenham Hotspur).

Midfielders: Eric Dier (Tottenham Hotspur), Jordan Henderson (Liverpool), Dele Alli (Tottenham Hotspur), Jesse Lingard (Manchester United), Fabian Delph (Manchester City), Ruben Loftus-Cheek (Chelsea).

Forwards: Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur), Marcus Rashford (Manchester United), Raheem Sterling (Manchester City), Jamie Vardy (Leicester City), Danny Welbeck (Arsenal).
