Nigeria’s former president, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, has congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari as he clocks 76 years, today, 17th of December, 2018.
In Jonathan’s personally signed message he thanked God for the grace of long life which has kept the president alive till this very moment. He equally stated that president Mohammadu Buhari has “contributed so much to the development of Nigeria, having served the nation in different capacities, and always giving his best whenever he is called upon to serve.”
He also mentioned, “Your life has been a life of great service to our dear nation, having served as a brave soldier, Governor, Minister of Petroleum, Head of State, and now President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
“I join you, your family, well-wishers and fellow Nigerians to give thanks to Almighty God for the gift of a long life. I wish you good health and more productive years, as you continue to lend your skills and energy to the task of building a Nigeria of our dreams.”
Goodluck Jonathan then wrapped up his felicitations by expressing that Buhari’s commitment to making Nigeria develop is very obvious, and he prays that “the President has good health and more productive years.”
