The National Assembly Progressive Media Aides on Friday endorsed Sen. Sani Musa (APC-Niger) for the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman.
The endorsement took place in Abuja and had in attendance party supporters.
The Chairman of the group, Mr Oyelude Oladele said it was the group’s unanimous decision to endorse Musa, which came after careful examination of his leadership style.
“He is a youth-friendly leader with a strong ability to build bridges across all regions, religion, ethnic groups and above all, his selfless agitation for “One Nigeria” has distinguished him among his contenders.
“Senator Musa is a loyal party man with the requisite leadership acumen to lead the ruling party, the largest political party in Africa, APC.
“He is a master-strategist, a renowned grassroot mobiliser, a team player and a distinguished manager of men of diverse race.
“We are well convinced that Musa will protect the progressive achievements of President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration, ensure cohesion of the nation, unity of Nigerians and preserve those values and attributes of our great party in harmony.”
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the National Assembly Progressive Media Aides is a united body of the Media Aides to all the progressive parliamentarians in both chambers of National Assembly.(NAN)
