Former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has alleged that President Muhammadu Buhari conspired with then US President Barack Obama to frustrate the Goodluck Jonathan’s administration’s war on terror.
Fani-Kayode, who was a key member of the Jonathan/Sambo campaign organisation in 2015, made this known in a tweet on his verified Twitter handle on Monday morning.
According to him, the war on terror suffered because the US government under Obama failed to sell vital arms to Nigeria to enable the country defeat Boko Haram.
He added that the alleged conspiracy helped to portray Jonathan in bad light before Nigerians and led ultimately to his defeat in the 2015 presidential election.
Fani-Kayode tweeted: “U accuse @BarackObama of not helping Nigeria fight terror and u are right. However u conspired with him,u helped him to undermine @GEJonathan’s war against terror and in return he put u in power. U are the greatest terrorist that has ever ruled Nig. and @BarackObama put u there!”
