Ghanaian music sensation Livingstone Etse Satekla, widely known as Stonebwoy, has opened up about his ancestral connection to Nigeria, revealing that he has Nigerian heritage. The award-winning dancehall star, hailing from the Ewe tribe in Ghana, shared insights into his roots, asserting that his ancestors were originally from the ancient Oyo Kingdom in Nigeria.

In a recent conversation with popular Nigerian influencer Ola of Lagos, Stonebwoy spoke in Pidgin, emphasizing the significance of his Nigerian lineage. He proudly declared, “Me sef nah Naija, no lies. Me nah Ewe from Oyo Kingdom, my tribe migrated from Nigeria to Ghana here, na we get Illesha. Shout-out to my people in the southern part of Nigeria. Check Ewe, we root straight to Yoruba.
