The Grammy-nominated artist surprised many by expressing her attraction to men who appear disinterested and mysterious rather than those who approach her directly.
In the interview, Tyla shared her perspective, saying, “I don’t like guys that approach me. I want guys that look like they don’t want me. And they must also be mysterious.” The revelation offers a unique insight into Tyla’s personal tastes and adds an intriguing layer to her public persona.
Beyond her personal preferences, Tyla delved into the backstory of her viral hit song, ‘Water,’ which has garnered widespread acclaim. Reflecting on the creation of the song, she expressed, “I heard the song ‘Water,’ and I instantly fell in love. I finished it in Cape Town, South Africa. As soon as I finished recording, I was just playing it over and over again.”
Tyla explained the essence of ‘Water,’ describing it as a bold expression aimed at a certain type of individual. She clarified, “It’s basically me telling a guy that stop being all-talk, I want you to show me what you got to offer. It’s kind of a naughty song but it’s the song of the summer.“
