Paris Saint Germain striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is now the club’s highest goal scorer ever, after netting two penalties in Sunday’s Lique 1 game against Olympique Marseille.

The Sweden international, who celebrated his 34th birthday on Saturday, achieved the milestone 110 goals in 137 appearances for the club, which is now 1 goal better than the record set by  Portugul international Pauleta.

Pauleta had achieved the previous record by scoring 109 times in 211 games for the club over a period of five years, but it took Ibrahimovic a little over three years to surpass the record, having joined the Parisiens in July 2012 from AC Milan.

Ibrahimovic had complained of not being given enough playing time since the beginning of the season prior to his goal in the 3-0 demolition of Guingamp last weekend, during which he ended a 500-minute goal drought that had sparked criticisms from club fans.
