English actor and producer, Idris Elba has tied the knot with Sabrina Dhowre in a private ceremony held in Morocco.
The happy couple, who met in 2017 in Canada where Elba was filming The Mountain Between Us, had the ceremony on Friday, April 26 at the Ksar Char Bagh hotel in Marrakesh.

UK’s Vogue Magazine, which has covered the couple’s wedding in its latest issue, shared the news on Instagram.
“Congratulations to newlyweds #IdrisElba and #SabrinaDhowre who exchanged vows in Morocco on April 26 2019. Celebrations were spread over three days in Marrakesh. See more in the world exclusive in the July 2019 issue of #BritishVogue ,” the Vogue wrote.
The duo had the wedding celebrations planned out for three days, with a white-themed festival-style party taking place today for their family and friends at the Mandarin Oriental hotel.
The guests were also present invited to dine with the newlyweds the night before the ceremony at a ‘colours of the Souk’ themed dinner.
