The Ikorodu Bois are at it again; the group of three talented young boys has drawn global attention with a recreation of Roddy Ricch’s “The Box” video.
The group, which is fond of making videos mimicking DJ Cuppy, mimicked the scenarios and actions in Ricch’s hit video, albeit with meagre resources.
For 1:47 minutes, the teenagers mimicked scene-by-scene actions, including using wheelbarrows in place of racing Ferraris in the first scene, and an untarred compound for a basketball court afterwards.
It turned out the effort was impressive and got featured on American content-aggregating video blog, World Star Hip Hop, where it has been viewed more than 130,000 times as at 7 a.m on Friday.
Visitors to the site were more than impressed by the effort and praised the boys’ talent and creativity.
